what is a good product to make the black trim look new again and wont damage it????? because i used a product that didnt agree with it and made parts of it turn chalky white??

I've always used 'Back to black'. It's leaves a bit of sheen but its not too bad if you apply it properly.

I use Mothers back to black and it works great on the black trim pieces. Also good on all the plastic garbage inside of the engine bay.
