I've got a friend that is going to install a KB on his GT500 and an exhaust.

Is removing the K the best route? I know that when we installed LTs on my 03GT that we just loosened the mount on one side and took the bolt out of the mount on the other and jacked up that side of the engine.

This will be done at the owner's shop, so we have all the air tools and lifts we will need.

Any suggestions from anyone who's done this would be appreciated.

Also, any suggestions on aftermarket K members for this car would help.

Thanks

driver side was a pain .i loosened up the passenger side and totally drop the left side plus you have to disconnect the steering .also you have to take the motor mount out to. other than that its easy . lol . i put kooks on mine.i was in in no hurry so i can not give you a time i worked on it for about a hour or so every evening after work.
