Just had an itch to downsize from the heavy 18's to some lighter 17's. That is until money permits for some lightweight Classics.

Just my .02 but I can say already the saleens look way better then the new ones would. I doubt the weight difference is gonna do much for ya.

Maybe not, but I recall reading somewhere that the Saleen Reps. tipped the scale at just over 30 lbs. each. How true that is I honestly don't know. If there was any validity to it 10 lbs. off each corner couldn't hurt.

As far as looks go I'd respray the rims in a gloss black for a similar look.

I'd stick with what you have and save for the others. Like the Saleens a lot better.
