Title says it all...is there really that much difference between the stock 2010 CAI and a whipple CAI. I know the air filter is less restrictive on the whipple. But if you get the Ford Racing Air Inlet Resonator Eliminator [M-9B659-MSVT] - $60.00 : Evolution Performance, Performance Parts & Accessories - Ford Mustang & Shelby Experts and put it on the stock 2010 CAI would they basically be and do the same thing? Basically is it worth spending $600 on the whipple CAI or can I basically make mine the same thing for about $60??

The Whipple intake can support MUCH more power than the stock 2010 assembly. If the car just has a stock blower with bolt-ons, the stock assembly with the resonator eliminator is just fine. If you plan on a high boost TVS or Whipple, the Whipple intake is the highest flowing intake on the market and is what I would recommend (for 600-750+ rwhp).
