Save and get 8ks up and down, you'll be happy.
I have 6k fogs and 8k uppers and my fogs are easy twice as bright, granted I'm running my uppers through a HID projector lense but the blue hue is so nice and the 6ks are so damn white.

Why would having more light output be a bad thing?:shrug:

Your 8000K foglights may "look" brighter, but the 6000K headlights have more light output.
