Since it's pre-wired, are you looking for something in-wall or something exposed that you can easily unplug and move?

If you can control the light in the room and won't be used as the primary TV watching area I would go projector and screen. Other advice is to set up and use a good remote control, and ditch that Pioneer receiver. Get a new one that will hook up to WIFI and you can use a app on your phone to control it. I've worked for a couple AV company's over the years, and i've found that the simpler things are the easier they are to use.

Buy your speakers used. You'll get a great upgrade in sound buying a vintage set of speakers. Speakers only get better with age and usage.

Put the majority of your money in amplification and sound processing tech.
