Any input on these Wisconsin Error Coins/Quarters?

Wisconsin Error Coins

I see there is a big hype about these coins on the internet. Why? How much are they worth? I might be interested in purchasing some of these professional certified coins for my Dad but wanted to get a second opinion. Thanks.

I've heard the same and have been looking at every quarter I've got for the last few months. Haven't found a single one yet!

LOL me too! I have been looking at some of my change here at the office and at home but I am sure most of them are snatched up already. Looks like I have to stick with the ones that have been professionally certified. I am going to watch a few of that guy's auctions, hopefully I will be able to win a few of them. :coolman:

i found a 1972 penny that was double stamped, sent it to get cert, and valued at 250 to 300 bucks :coolman:

I just contacted the guy he has several on eBay right now. I am trying to close a deal on a set but waiting on his reply.

In order: ^ Normal Quarter, Low Leaf Error ^, and High Leaf Error. ^

Apparently those leaves were not meant to be minted but some went into circulation. The correct Quarter lacks the additional LOW or HIGH leaf.
