I understand from a recent bit in Popular Mechanics by Leno that he bought the very first one. As of the printing of the magazine he had yet to take delivery of it.

I want one......but hey I'm a govt employee..:cryying:

You misread. Jay Leno was the auctioneer for the 1st GT.
