Any other former troops being called back to Active Duty?

Just got a letter from the Army saying that ive been recalled to active duty for a 1 1/2yr stint in the sandbox. Just wondering if any other guys who are/were on Inactive Ready Reserve (IRR) have been called back up. :shrug:

Nope, and already did my twenty so leave me alone. Let Bush get called up since he skipped the first one

Ryan did about a year and a half ago (RTStabler) but i dont think he went back for that long

As long as you are under eight years total service, you run the risk of being called back. 4 years active, 4 years inactive reserve. Life sux. I did nine years of BS. I'll go to Canada before the desert!

I'm tired of seeing local 19 year olds being killed by "road side bombs".


Those bias freak me out. No trust. Vietnam with sand!

I don't know.. I'd rather be fighting overseas in THEIR land, than have them here killing our women and children.. yes, too bad about our boys being killed, but freedom isn't free, and everyone in the Military is a volunteer..
