I a pretty sure the CFTP runs a wider rim and tire. The base model looks like they are tucked in a little.
Edit: Not sure if there is a size difference between the base and CFTP. I am looking back at a post from 50 Deep on being able to run a 315 or 325 square setup with an aftermarket rim.

Haha. I mean considering the car is bolt ons from hitting 140mph trap speeds, and maybe 145+ honestly, I think these will rarely see the tvs come off.
I bet a handful will get 150mph trap speeds with full bolt ons, e85 and maybe a porter blower if that’s a thing on the 2.65 (I don’t think it is)

.I talked to Jason last week, 1320junkie, hes sure there is ~40hp gain in the 2650. Hes got one on order, as do i, so whomever gets it 1st will be the guinea pig.
as well as im 3hrs from MIR, 2 from Atco, 1 from Cecil.. ill be hitting them as soon the tires are mounted.. and if it gets here when they are closed, road tripping to the Carolinas or Florida

I’m sure stronger clutches, and internals will get the dct9007 comfortably holding 1000whp.
Everyone fears the new stuff will suck then engineers see what fails and try to do better with harder materials or better design, etc.

Allegedly these clutches are holding up to 2000hp race applications.
It’s two gear clusters, two clutches and supporting systems. What breaks will be fortified and what remains will be cryo treated for an additional grand or so in soon to come 1000tq and 1500tq rated rebuilds. I’m expecting a $5k rebuild for 1000tq to $8k rebuild for 1500tq
I have a feeling these gt500’s will get picked up as easy cars to get into the 8’s on slicks, bolt ons, e85 and maybe a porter blower. Shouldn’t need much over 1000whp to do so
