I own a 42" Samsung plasma tv, that I bought new a little over 2 years ago. The picture quality is excellent...with the exception of one thing. On light and white screens, there will sometimes be pink/purple blotches all over the screen. Sometimes it will be a couple of small blotches...and other times it will be big blotches. It's really bad when you turn the xbox 360 on, before it gets to the home screen/log in screen. I know it's not screen burn in, I have seen that before. I just have a hunch that it may be the t-con board.
