Just wondering what (if any) ideas ya'll might have as far as futiure evaluations go to the 10-14 GT500's when comparing them to the introduction of the new 2017 GT500?
Are the older 500's going to get hammered or would one expect normal depreciation to happen?

There won't be a 17 GT500. Maybe 18, but unless Ford runs a very late year release, like the limited run 15' 350, there won't be a 17 GT500.

Why would they bring out a GT500 when this platform is supposed to only last till 2020. A whole new line for just three year that would have to compete with the GT350? I think there will not be a GT500 in the works till the new platform comes on line, if then.

Ford has done it in the past, the Boss 302 and the GT500 were both available at the same time. But unless they want to dash the ZL1s' dreams again, if that was their plan they would have announced the new GT500 right after Chevy announced the ZL1, I doubt there will be a 17 GT500.

I was just wondering if there'd there may be a 2017 GT500, so I wanted to post this thread. It seems that there are some Google Images of a possible GT500 for 2017. Just wondering, because I am really close to puliing the trigger on a 2012 GT500. So, I was just wondering what any feedback was on the situation before I do....

Even if there is a new model year GT500, I don't see this impacting prices of the 2010-2014s in any way. The S197s are a unique car and will always have a place in the late model muscle car scene, and the values right now are going to hold at this level for a long while.
