I've been banned from several forums, one for refusing to use the desired pronouns of a tranny and another for saying communism doesn't work.

About 1 year ago. It started in the Ukraine War thread and I tried to get my account deleted by posting NSFW pictures in the Hot GF thread. lol
I got in trouble on the MotoGP Reddit because I pointed out that it was dumb that they would wear masks and rubber gloves during the podium ceremonies and had to set the trophy in front of the riders without making contact. Then all the riders would pick up the trophy and immediately kiss it. I said they were confusing Covid with static electricity. Lol
I just got suspended for 3 days because I said that a 19 year old woman, with a 250k investment account, was a trust fund baby due to "threatening, harassing or bullying" being against the rules.
I in turn responded to the suspension message that the admin was a crybaby bitch who abuses their power on Reddit because they aren't shit in real life.

When I got banned from facebook for saying Europeans were weird for peeing next to the porta-potties instead of in the porta-potties at the Dutch TT MotoGP race (hate speech), I was able to delete my account and leave.
When reddit banned me for stating facts about covid (misinformation), I was able to delete my account and leave.
When I told someone here that their post wasn't very thoughtful (hate speech), I couldn't delete my account and leave. We're all trapped in here for life! Lol

It wasn't always that way. I still have one of the original accounts. I rarely visit anymore, because of all the cry baby's. Before what they call the purge it was a lot better.

When Tumblr banned pornography around (I believe) 2014, is when the major shift happened and a majority of the tumblr userbase moved to Reddit and Twitter. Tumblr trying to become "advertiser friendly" ruined Reddit and Twitter.

Sure is, tumblr was only really used for two reasons - communism and porn. When they banned porn, all the commies fled.
I'm sure at some point it'll either go the way of vine (total shutdown) or myspace (alive but complete irrelevance)
