Hey guys, i recently became interested in airsoft guns and i was wondering if anybody has some good sites and info on the guns itself. I found a very cool website with a lot of guns. I'm just trying to get more info on what to and what not to buy.

i love airsoft, paintball hurts too much (im a puss) and costs too much.

i mostly get wal-mart specials, when we play we try to keep costs down so we can have hella more people come play. Nooblets dont like to spend $150 on a sport they dont even know if they like yet, as compared to 20$ on a set of pistols, some clips and ammo for a day they wont forget.

I have 4 wal mart 1911's and 8 extra clips for general use (usually just stick them on the table and let people grab them on their way out). 2 Baretta M92 knockoffs and 2 extra clips, these are my babies. Way more accurate than the standard 1911's and more comfortable to reload/**** (thats probably gonna get filtered lol). I have 2 wal-mart electric automatics (Pulse R71's), top load reservoir, both are modded with UV LED's pointing at the chute and loading barrel, so when i pull the trigger the LED's flash and if im using UV reactive ammo, i turn each round into a tracer. looks ****ing awesome at night. Gonna wire a red LED into the muzzle too. i also have a badass sniper rifle WELL L96 AWP Spring Airsoft Sniper Rifle that we try to mix into the gameplay.

when we play, its usually team vs team. Usually try to keep things as even as possible, most of us have wal mart electric automatics, but if theres alot of players its way funner if everyone just has pistols, too many automatics and they take out the pistolers and it just becomes an automatic vs automatic war. We also keep automatics on semi-auto, so you can only shoot as fast as you can pull the trigger, and it jams sometimes on semi-auto mode, adding a nice realistic touch. If we incorporate a sniper, he will always be offset by two automatics.

Being the sniper is fun but everyone comes after you first since the sniper rifle hurts the most. 500fps with a .20g bb, hitting you in the face hurts like a bitch (we wear protective goggles only). where we play, if im the sniper i fall back a good 20yards and let my guys cover me while i try to pick off my enemies. Oh and when we play, sniper gets no clip reloads, and it holds 22 shots, so any more and the sniper is doneski. If you need 22 shots to kill maybe 8 people with the sniper rifle, you either suck, have horrible teamates providing cover fire, or they are really good at dodging bullets. Unlike standard pistol fire, you cannot see the bb's coming at you. If you are quick enough with somone shooting at you with a pistol and know where to look, you can easily dodge a few rounds.

I didnt know airsoft had that big of a market, me personally, im a paintball guy, more satisfaction cause you actually can inflict some pain on others.

High powered airsoft hurts more. I'd rather be hit by a 300fps breaking paintball than a 6mm non breaking plastic bb at 500+ FPS

yeah I am into it. I usually shop airsplat or airsoft gi its fun stuff especially since the guns look very realistic and actually have some good weight to them. I have a Classic Army SLR105 A1 and a S&W Sigma .40. Both guns kick butt and have lots of metal parts(mechanically and cosmetically)

I have a CA25 rifle.
Over 400FPS and it is accurate from long range.
Got it fixed and was picking off kids last week and they didn't know where it was coming from.(During a game).

+1 they will make you bleed. I had a Marui M4, was a blast to play; but sold everything before I left for college.

If y'all live near Saint Louis, there is an awesome place to play there.

Paintball is a lot more fun than airsoft.. Too easy to act like you didn't get hit when playing airsoft... Not to mention my paintball gun fires 25+ bps on semi-auto.

I was into it a while ago, I used to have a Tokyo Marui M4 Electric and a Tokyo Marui Green Gas M9 Tactical Master. I found it funny, when I ordered the M4 from china or japan wherever they send it from, they put the orange plug muzzle on it so when I received it was like like "WTF bull shit" So I looked under the Styrofoam box and they had taped the original Metal muzzle to it.. haha

But I broke my M4 and lost my M9.. =(
