I'm looking to do a gas fire pit on my deck. I was looking at rings for it in the 36-48" range. They seemed pretty expensive for what they were, so I was thinking of making my own out of black pipe and drill holes for the gas to come up. Then I came across the Warming Trends crossfire burner which claims to make a more impressive flame than a standard ring. What do you guys think, are they worth the money to buy, or should I make my own?
Anybody know about gas fire pit rings?
