It's unclear what your use is going to be but they are a track only tire. I run 315's on all corners while i am at the track. My sig is my open track set-up.
I will be using them for street duty. Not daily. Just want the most grip I can get. I don't want the mismatched tire setup of a Dr. Alot of guys are running toyo r888' s on the street, the nt01' s are comparable.
So are the nt01s noisy? I have read the r888s are.
Well got um mounted on and about 100 street miles on them. The car feels completely different, very stuck to the road to say the least.
275/40/17 up front and 315s out back on AFS 10.5s
Well the rear tires wear fast, fronts not too bad. I'd say you'd be lucky to get 8000 miles on a set of rears. Also they got pretty noisy after 2000 miles. Stick like glue though. Never had such confidence on any other tire.
Nt01is not comparable to the 888r's. With the 888s you can get caught in the rain and be ok. With the nt01 you will slide like on ice after about a thousand miles.
I have NT01s all the way around, the car is mostly a track car, still gets driven to the track and occasional weekend sunny day drives... if you get caught in the rain, drive like you are on snow and ice otherwise say goodbye to the road... good auto-x tire though I'll probably go with Hoosier next time...
