Has anyone had a SpyAxe program infect their system?

Yeah I got it one day while trying to watch a vid. It said I need a new codec to view the vid and asked me if I wanted to install it. I said yes and the next thing I know I got that stupid program taking over the whole computer. That should be illegal!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well anyway, I ended up doing a System Restore which restored my system to the way it was 2 days prior. Good luck. It was the only way I could get rid of it!
