The leather on my black leather seats is all cracked and faded and I just dont' want to go thru the hassle of sanding and using the liquid based dye that i see a lot of people use which takes days to dry. I asked a buddy of mine who refered me to this shop: Home.
I asked them how their process works and he says they use some sort of cleaner that removes the top coat, then they brush base into the cracked areas and then spray a base coat and then spray a top coat.
I found out that he is contracted by all the luxury dealerships around here (lexus, bmw, mercedes) to do this kind of work for the used cars they want to sell. So my biggest questions are how long this will last and also does it change the texture of the leather?
Have anyone ever used it on their own seats or have heard about the process?
