Anyone ever remove and reinstall blower elbow vacuum fittings?

The two vacuum fittings are protruding into the elbow. One is not bad at all, but the other sticks in pretty far.

I'd like to remove them and reinstall after trimming so they're flush. Not sure if trying to grind them flush is a good idea or even doable with the tools I have. Or should I not even bother.

Anyone ever do this or have any tips?

I would imagine anyone that's done' porting work will have done this.

I wouldn't bother. I don't think they're easily removed and reinstalled. I wouldn't go in from the inside unless you opened up the supercharger, removed the rotors and taped over the bearings. If you went that far, you just as soon get it ported.

I think you're right. After seeing how much bigger the elbow opening is compared to my SCJ mono, I'm not going to bother. I'll take care of it if the blower is ever ported.
