Well I've never got a chance to see what the stock shifter is like, since my car had a tri-ax and now a mgw. I have my car at the shop and the owner asked what kind of shifter I have. I told him and he said "figures". He's really not a fan of them and honestly the tri-ax almost seemed better.
He said that a stock shifter with a upr or tri-ax handle works very well. Anyone try this? I do have the stock shifter yet and the mgw does still seem like a pain sometimes. I also recently switched to pennzoil synchromesh and noticed little to zero difference. Next I might try amsoil atf. thansk for any input.
