I ordered my 2012 today in red candy metallic and plan to put black rims on it eventually cause i love that look. Im also thinking about putting the boss 302 splitter on the front and tinted windows. the black and red theme. im kinda thinkin i chose the wrong color though. I mean truth is i like all the colors with black rims so its hard to choose but some pictures and opinions would be appreciated.

hey i have a black 11' 5.0 with the same rims but not black yet... how did you go about getting yours black? powder coat or what? and also how did you black out all of the lights? im kinda interested in doing along the same lines....

How is the paint holding up? How many coats? Clear coat?
It's holding up rather well :rockon: Washed it several times and still no issues at all. Making sure the paint or plastic is dry before touching it is crucial. If you mess up one spot the whole thing is ruined. Found that out messing with a friends plastic chrome grill and my gas cap. Once it's dry though is pretty damn tuff! -Shane
