I think this is the longest thread i have ever seen in the Mustang section. Hey Grim's, why dont you put 4.10's on instead of the 3.73's?

My GT is an auto, plus I'm just looking for something a little extra to get me out of the hole quicker. Besides, my pony isn't a track car so why go to the extreme of 4.10's for the street??

You are making the right decision with the 3.73's....they are appropriate for what you want to accomplish. Now quit driving the pig & get in the stang! :burnout:

 ,.....hey there's nothing wrong with using the "buick beater" as a daily driver. Besides, I can still kick some ricer butt with that 4 door, front wheel drive , v6.:-D

At the time I didn't have a second car and chose convenience over performance.

I guess Joel has the coolest black GT around here now:beer: ;-)

A small torque converter will do wonders for that car. Like about a 2800?
