I'm looking to get a camcorder to be used in car racing videos (open track and drag). Anyway, I know that the car will shake around a fair bit, and that normally, hard drives do not take well to shaking. The camera I want is a Hard Drive model and I have been unable to find anything online about hard drive camcorders skipping or failing from shaking. Anyone have any input?

I forget the model#
It was like 4500 but is priced resonable now.

I think once mounted properly it would do a perfect job.
You may still get some shaking, but writing to the drive shouldn't be affected.
