I was wondering if anyone has done a "before and after" dyno with and without cats with the bassani X-pipe. I had the cats in mine and just took them out yesterday. I really like the sound but am not sure if I lost any power. Ive heard of people losing horses when they take out their cats. Is this true all the time and why? Thanks.

I think someone lost 5 or 6 horsepower with cats compared to without. But that was on a pretty well modded 03.

Also...someone tested with baffles and without on a modded 03 and lost about 5 horsepower with them in than with them out.
So ad the two together and you get 10 rwhp extra

I lost a lb of boost with the off-road. We put the cats on and got the boost back. Our car likes a little back pressure.
