Does anyone in this site have a slap stick shifter in their gen 2 lightning? I'm sure that b&m makes one that would be long enough for a Lightning, but I am not sure how our trans would take to this. This will save me the money of buying a whole new trans and replacing it with a manual one.

I don't know who has one. I know I wouldn't want one, for the fact that the truck shifts pretty good by itself. I think it is best to let the truck shift and eliminate winding out those gears to much and losing some parts if ya get what I'm saying. If you do decide to do it, post some pics.
