I was thinking about putting an airbag system on my gen 2 L. I an not sure if this will effect my performance with power loss or extra weight. Has anyone tried Airbags?

Are you talking about lowering with airbags or using airbags to help haul more weight in the bed?
I'm talking about the lowering airbags with the compressor that can lower and raise the truck at will. The ones that you see on all these show trucks in truckin and sport truck.

They dont weigh that much do they!!!! I dont see any problems might even help even the weight ratio out.... and allow the truck to stick better, anothre concern would be you might have more maintence, ie something else to break.............. I dont see problems with it. What brand are you looking at.

Jax seems to make a pretty good system but I would really have to look into it some more. I just need to make sure it will be ok for performance before I even waist time looking at them.
