Worked in the trades for 30 years. Had good and bad Red Wings as well as a few from Carolina. My favorite footwear came from Danner.

Railroad ballast chews through boots pretty quick. Took me a few years to find what I liked, but I’ve been wearing Keen boots the last 4 years.

Not real sure what they offer in the safety shoe/shop shoe market, but I can vouch for their comfort in boots.

I have a pile of boats. I have Redwing, Danner, Timberland and Oliver's.

The Oliver's are work provided steal toes made by Honeywell. Ugly as ****, but Jesus are the comfortable and have all the required plant specs.

I wear the Danner and Redwings when I'm not doing things that may destroy my boots.

Timberland Pit Boss is an $80 tank that just keep going. Made in Dominican Republic, so the money isn't supporting communists.

Good Pit Boss review. Grab some insoles and go. Again, huge props for being a cheap disposable boot NOT Made in China.
