anyone use water hose timers?

its getting pretty dry down here and i like water in the early morning but bcuz i have to be at work at 4am i cant do it now. im going to go buy a water hose timer but dont know if they are reliable? any recomendations? digital or standard or what brand? thanks

Yup,as mentioned above,they take 9v batteries.In the dry winter months,I have mine set to go of 2 times a week in the morning,or you just turn them on manually.

It takes at least 2 or 3 minutes to figure out how to do it and actually set it up. Add in another 30 seconds or so to install it, plus 15-20 seconds to put the battery in (make sure you have a screwdriver). It's a weekend job.

I have one of the "Orbit" brand ones that I got from Home Depot and it works great. Up to 4 connections and very simple to use. A buddy at work told me about these and it saved me the expense of getting a real deal sprinkler system hooked up for a lot of money.

I highly recommend these ones.
