I was almost finished with the installation of the JLT True Cold Air (fender well kit) when it came time to put on my 9" filter. It seems to long! I do believe I read some sigs with Terminators running this combination. It would work if I cut out the bottom of the plastic inner fender. I tried to put it on like the directions filter down, MAF cover toward drivers side fender. Any suggestions??
Thanks

In order to get a 9" to fit you will need to trim the bottom of the inner fender liner.
The kit comes standard with a 6", but many run the 9"

I didnt really want to cut the inner fender out, I guess I'll just have to get the 6" filter. Any Idea on CFM/HP max on the 6". I'm going for about 500-550 HP this summer.

Guys have gone as high as 600+ on the 6"

Once you trim the bottom of the liner you can't tell. It's just the bottom part going forward that you trim.
