Anyone who ever asked which headers were best?

Watson engineering stainless steel headers!!! Reading this article they picked up 46.6 ft lbs and 48.8 peak HP. Impressive. The price though...850

Lidio used those about 5-6 years ago because Watson was the only one out there that had them. Yeah they were SS and would prob. last forever but there were some clearance problems. Alt. Auto. prefers the BBK's for value/fit, but if you want stainless headers, he has a guy in that area that does SS. I got a qoute for around $1200 for stainless w/Jet Hot or HPC type coating (for heat reduction/looks). I only asked cause my BBK's are flaking off the coating that was supposed to be Jet Hot- (it's not). I'm either going to have them pulled,stripped,and recoated, or have a new set made. (not that I want to dump $1200 but these headers will clear a R470W (?) auto tranny conversion or a 5/6speed if I decide to that on down the road...
