Apten Cold-Air Installed: 10hp gain

I installed my Apten cold-air kit last week at the same time I put on my Steeda Cat-Back.

I picked up 10hp SAE corrected on the dynojet dyno from the cold-air and then another 10hp after installing the Steeda. I don't have a tune or a pulley yet. I think the cat-back would have seen a bigger difference on a pullied car.

I am very happy with this setup. The car sounds great and has a better throttle response. The 20hp extra are a nice too

My air/fuel was off the charts (below 10) by 4K RPM so I am in serious need of a tune! Pulley and tune at the same time. For now I'm enjoying my 392hp!

With a tune those numbers will increase nicely.

BTW.. how do you like your Pro 5.0?

I love the Pro5.0. I had one in my SS Camaro too. I think they are an excellent shifter. I've never used a Tri-Ax, but my friend had a B&M ripper in his SS and I liked the Pro5.0 better. It is smother and a little more positive going into 3rd.
