Are stock L wheels polishable?

I am thinking about powder coating my stock 02 wheels and was curious if they were polishable. Not sure if the are alloy or aluminum or what. If they are polishable i was thinking of doing a black/polished combo.

Yes they are, but require a ton of work.

Yeah I would think that you'd be better off with some chrome ones. The work to polish them on top of the upkeep is going to be a lot

I know its a bunch of work. I have polished a sport bike frame before and it rather sucked, But i was only thinking about doing a small amout of polishing and i can powder coat them for the cost of material. So i was playing with different ideas in my head to get a different look for minimal cost.
