Are vert seats different from coupe?

Will seats from a 94-98 Cobra vert bolt directly into a 94-98 coupe?

In the years there are some differences,but bolt up they should.
I've noticed after 96 or 97 they lost the side bolster adj and the headrest changed from tipping forward. On my 96 they look like the same seats from the GT with leather option.

All 1979-03 mustang front seats are interchangeable... except for the wiring... etc.

I had 01 GT cloth seats in my old 83 T-top GT. I had to do a lil custom wiring for the lumbar, and power on the drivers side... Piece of cake.

And, if I really wanted to... (I never would..) I could put those butt-ugly worn out 83GT seats in my cobra! They bolt straight in.

Partially...

The seats are interchangeable from 1979 to 2003 but in 99 the seat belt mounting points changed.

From 94 - 98 they are fully interchangeable however some features that 94-96 have were deleted for 97 & 98. 6way headrest & lat support.

The convertible seats do not recline as far as the coupe since they will contact the rear plastic interior trim pieces. Also the seatbelt loops are slightly different.
