Are you willing to pay over MSRP?

How badly do you want the GT500 once released?

I thought it would be interesting to see what this community would be willing to pay (relative to MSRP) for the GT500 when it's released.

Are you willing to pay a premium to get it "NOW", want it "NOW" but only for MSRP, or are you willing to wait a year or two for things to calm down before you take the plunge?

Even if I win the lottery... I am not paying over MSRP for any car.

This car is going to be an instant classic! I'll do what ever it takes to get a first production run car.

I wasn't willing to pay MSRP or naything over it for my 04 and I'm surely not going to pay over MSRP for a GT500.

I never paid MSRP for any of my cars, so why break tradition? These are going to be great performance cars, but unless you really, really want this car and you'd kill your first born to achieve one.....or pay over MSRP for one, I'll bide my time. Patience is a virtue.

Plenty of buyers will ignore history and buy for full sticker (or more). The question is, how soon will the supply of these MSRP buyers dry up? I say give it 18 months after the initial GT500 rolls off the assembly line. If history is any indicator, we may see some deeply discounted GT500s down the road. I'm certainly willing to wait to find out...
