From what I understand all at balancers made for superchargers come with double keyways.
Looking into the ati 918049 whicheck is a double keyway.
Anyone have any issues running a double keyway on a single keyway crank?
Ati shows that they sell the single keyway hub separately but they said it has been discontinued.

Any update? I bought a used IW 10% pulley that is double keyed and reading the VMP site it says "Dual crank keyways (required machine work to crank snout)
".

I just called IW and they told me for the GT500 it should be a single key hub, told me not to attempt to install on single key crank as there is already not a whole lot of meat on the crank. This is what the person on the phone told me. Told me to send the pulley back into IW and have the single keyed hub pressed in.

Wish I knew the correct answer was it would work without any affects. All the threads I have looked up pictures on of installs I see one keyway.

All ati hubs for supercharged cars have 2 keyways.
So with that said there are a lot of gt 500's out there with single key cranks running double keyed hubs.
IW told you no. Ati says no problem.
I am assuming the IW has a high quality steel hub like ati?

as long as it is seated correctly, it won't damage anything.

You can also run a stronger bolt. with a little bit of loc-tite.

you guys are over-thinking this lol

I'll take your guys word for it. I bought the ARP bolt from Lethal, it's been on back order for a couple weeks.
