If you have a kc, no point in having a heat exchanger anyway.

unless, you experience a Freon leak:xpl:.....IMO the H/E is a great b/u with the bypass. but it would be great to have one less obstruction for incoming air to hit the condensor & radiator..

Just finished mine and went ahead and deleted h/e all together, took it for a spin, no a/c yet and insulated every pipe. IAT's were 100 ish crusing for about 10 minutes. Did a pull and they went to 120's then back down to 100's... no H/E at all and kc not on yet, can't wait to recharge system, bitch will roll out.

What was the outside temp when you did this?

I bought everything to do this. It was about $250 for me. The jabsco I/C pump was was the most costly thing. I can't wait to do all of this.
