Just wondering if there is any audio gurus out here who know of any software to take a song from a CD or MP3 file and remove the drum track from it. Im trying to implement more ways into my drumming for practicing.

Drums are pretty well impossible as they cover a whole range of frequencies. I would hit up a drummers forum and find what other guys are using. I know there are drumless recordings for practice.
See if you can find multi-track recordings, that way you can easily remove whatever instrument you like.
Ive done this in the past, but with tapes, nowadays everything is digital which makes it next to impossible to isolate a track. Sometimes i miss tapes loll
