the local Camaro club, Tri-County Camaros, Ben had the idea of an unofficial Mustangs vs. Camaro Grudge Match at PBIR. Adrian at Tri County loved the idea. The date is August the 12 at PBIR. We will be running the Test and Tune portion of the Hot Rod / American Muscle Sunday. This event is not sponsored by PBIR or any vendor. The details will be released shortly when they are finalized. Post up if you'd like to participate but feel free to come, support and spectate too!

Location: Palm Beach International Raceway
Time: Gates open at 8am, Test and Tune is from 9am-5pm
-for those coming to spectate there is also a car show, swap meet and marketplace.
Classes:
1.V6 Class (Because 300+hp is no joke!)
2.Stock V8 Class (this should be interesting!)
3.Bolt Ons Class (No nitrous is not a bolt on)
4.Power Adder Class (Including factory superchargers)
5.Big Boys Class (Sub 11 second)
Mustangs Vs. Camaros
Rules:
If you arrive by 9am you will get a chance to have 2 runs to see how you are running (remember it's a HOT August day and you will probably run slower). We will start the official races at a time that will be announced that day. Everyone is responsible for setting up their own grudge race. If you do not have one set up we will set up one for you (as evenly matched as possible). Run what you brung and hope you brought enough.
as of right now there is cooperation from the track guys to reserve two lanes for camaro and mustang owners to line up against who they want to race. Just hoping some of the fast guys here on SVTP want to join the fun! I plan to be there with the shelby for the first time, so might not do as well but hey its whatever!
