Auto swap guys help, PCM not accepting tune???

I'm swapping to a 4r70 and using a 04 auto Mach1 PCM (SYM2) and my tuner can't get the new computer to accept the tune. He thinks it may be the PCM. Any suggestions?

You need a auto PCM , it have physical hardware that is not in the manual PCM.

The one I'm using is from a AUTO 04 Mach1 (sym2). He is going to try a different one to see if it was a bad computer. I bought it off here used so who knows.

Make sure a programmer wasnt mated to the PCM. I just went through all that. Turns out my PCM was mated to a programmer from a previous owner and that locked it up. I got it reflashed back to stock at a ford dealer for 65 bucks, and the new tune was immediately accepted.

He has the tune loaded and the car running but now it's throwing a code and he thinks its in the wiring. He had problems with the trans wiring harness, couldn't figure out which one to use with the trans because it has 2 speed sensors on the rear of the trans instead of 1 like he expected.
