Hey guys I figure I could get tons of insight from the forum . I am planning on doing my bachelor party in AC in august and have never been there . Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do , during the day and night ? There will be 10-12 of us, age group 26-30 years old. I was thinking of booking rooms at Caesars or Trump Taj Mihal , which do you suggest ?

Thanks fellas

The times I have stayed in Atlantic City, we were at the Borgata and barely left the hotel. It has plenty of food options and a couple nice clubs if that's what you're into. I've heard the rest of the city is a shithole.

Escorts and blow at the Taj Mahal. What happens in AC, stays in AC.

Truf. AC in itself is pure shit. The casinos are nice and if you like boardwalk stuff during the day.

Honestly there's alot of things to do in AC, just all kind of revolve around drinking and gambling...which I'm guessing ya'll are into if you're going there. Oh and skip the strip clubs if you have that in mind, I don't think I've seen a more shitty strip club scene than in AC. I'm used to going out to a place where there's a stage with a few girls on there and a few more walking around and say 2 or 3x as many guys. In AC there's a tiny stage with 1 girl there while there are about 200 guys all lined up around that tiny stage. There's like 7-8 guys deep just to get to the stage and see the girl. So it's like a 100:1 ratio vs the normal 5 or maybe 10:1 at the most. The only saving grace about those places is that the let you bring in your own alcohol as apposed to spending 10 bux on a drink, but you need all the booze you can bring in cuz you sure as hell won't be seeing any girls in there.

I have been to AC multiple times for work. Stayed at the Borgata and the Revel (was at the Revel when Ray Rice had his elevator incident, though I was working while it happened). Borgata is awesome, the B Bar inside is a nice spot to chill and socialize. Mur.Mur club inside Borgata is pretty good as well, I forgot the days it is usually open (Monday or Tuesday nights I forgot). Some hotels are closing down and if you have been to Las Vegas, Atlantic City will be a let down compared to it lol. Went to a strip club on one occasion, I think it was Bare Exposure on Pacific, the girls weren't that great.

Agreed. I just got back 3 weeks ago from a 3 day trip to the Borgata with 3 of my buddies. We got suites and only left to go to a strip club one night. We have gone every year for the last 4 years.

Bare exposure is the BYOB right? We usually go there but went to Stilleto this year instead. My buddies love The Gypsy Bar in the Borgata.

are any of these strip clubs good?

I think Borgata is out of the picture, trying to decide between Caesars or Trump Taj Mahal.

Yup, every time I walked past the Gypsy Bar, it was closed. Granted most of the time I was in Atlantic City it was Monday-Thursday.

We go for a boys weekend away every April for the last 7-8 years.
It is nothing like Vegas but if you're there for booze and gambling you won't be disappointed.
I stay at the Tropicana where there is everything you want under one roof.
Plenty of restaurants, bars, nightclubs.
It's usually a younger crowd than Borgata.
Strip clubs are crap compared to Montreal so we don't bother.

I grew up and live roughly 40min away, so I've been there more times than I can count. Also, more bachelor parties in Ac than I can remember. Whatever you want to know I can tell you.

Don't stay at the taj. It's on the verge of closing and is kind of dumpy compared.

Ceasars Ac is nothing compared to ceasars Vegas, but better than Taj Mahal if you're comparing.

Harrahs pool is fun as hell and should def be on your list.

Borgata is probably the best overall; has the best food, best nightlife, and hottest girls by far.

Tropicana has decent nightlife also. I forget the name but there's a bar serving those huge frozen drinks filled with things like Bacardi 151 and amnesia.

I'd probably split my time between those 3 places; sucks because they aren't close but jitneys or cabs are everywhere and cheap.

Don't walk anywhere at night, even the boardwalk turns sketchy late. And wear neutral colors...

I live and work in the ac general area. All of this.

I figure we would jump around between casinos/hotels for "nightlife" We will be there for 2 nights. What type of things can we do during the day? Any group type activities that would be fun, I heard of AC paintball near the area.

I was looking at reviews regarding the Trump Chariman Tower being a nice spot to stay? I should stay away? The bachelor party is not until august 14-16, so I would hoping booking rooms now wont be a problem.

The Taj is a tacky 90's dump of a casino now. Don't stay there.

Stay at the Borgata, Water Club, Harrah's, or Trop so you're at least close to good nightlife. During the daytime, the beach isn't bad just to hang\recoupe.

You could go to the boardwalk in Ocean City, it's nicer than AC, has some water parks, go-karts, mini-golf; BS to do. Nothing in and around AC is nice, and the daylight just emphasizes it. They tried, but the locals are doing their best to ruin it.

Wildwood is an awesome boardwalk, tons of rides, waterparks, etc; and maybe 50 min from AC each way. I'd do that.

I worked in AC for 5 years and as previously stated, avoid walking the city at night and the boardwalk, it turns into a very sketchy place. Only casino's worth staying at would be the Borgata,Harrah's, or Tropicana. Borgata's nightclubs are alot of fun especially with bottle service which isn't outrageous split between a group. The Pool at Harrah's is also a lot of fun when it turns into a nightclub at night, and is a nice place to hang during the day to relax. It's a huge indoor pool with multiple levels. If you want the best steak in the city, check out The Homestead in the Borgata. Also grab a White House sub in the daytime, its on Arctic Ave.

See, I was never a fan of White House. I always found it just meh; not better than local places i grew up with. Maybe to out of town people it's different.

I used to love bills gyro on the boardwalk; but it's gone downhill in the last few years. Still ok, not great.

We usually make a run to Philly for Geno's on Saturday for lunch.
