does anyone know how the car would react if the mass air meter was going bad? every now and then the car will act like a carbed car on a cold morning or that is getting too much air and not enough fuel...kinda bogs down...i'll push the accelerator, it'll feel like it's choking out, then boom, it wakes up and accelerates like it's supposed to. it only does this once and a while and the check engine light is usually on when it does it. i've had it checked before and it was an O2 sensor code, but i have MIL eliminators. could a bad eliminator cause the car to run like this? thanks.
