bama tune only a6...12.31 @ 114.9.

took my ,13 a6 premium/nav/comfort etc, to richmond dragway last night car ran good, my best before this is a 7.97 at 91.2 with a 1.90 at my local 1/8th, so im guessing the car has at least a 12.2 at 115 on my current street tires with a good cool down, just didnt hook up as well here, car also spun more then usual on the 1-2. Car ran great though, there were lots of ls1 firebirds running 14's haha, also a zl1 running high 11's at 123. i like the fact that you can have one of the fastest street cars out there with just a tune. im wondering if i can break 11's when i install a cai and xpipe ...?? car has a bama 93r tune and gt500 mufflers. also had over half a tank and a car seat in the back. really wante to get a 12.2 but ran out of time. weather was great around 400DA i think.

first off. great run.
second according to the weather data from drag times and backed up by noaa's calculator the d.a was about 26ft
third. with the great d.a and great track prep you may be able to get a 12.1 maybe if all goes perfect crack an 11.99 with those mods. I picked up about .7 with the tune and or/r

yeah i guess your right on the DA, last time i checked was at 830 and it said 419ft DA, didnt look it up again after that, either way weather was great.

Wow two days and no hate on tune yet! impressive.
those are awesome times CONGRATS. I just switched to an auto car and cant decide on tuner yet. did u have to datalog and get tune updates or did they hit it right first go with bama tune??

this is really good on street tires, which are next door to useless at the strip. Toss a set of drag radials on the back and be rocking 11s no issues. A tune and a good tire is all that's really needed.

i just rev to 12or1300, take my foot off the break then floor it, id say the 2-3 hooks okay 2/3rds of the time, but every now and then i have to let off so i dont die. i try to avoid the water as much as possible and do a mild burn out to sling the water and dirt off the tread. i found that the car doesnt like a full stall on the converter. best 60 yet is 1.90 which netted the 7.97 1/8th.

Hoodley - Aed tune and bald DR only on my last manual 3.55 11GT. I babied it out of the hole(see 60') and then stood on it. A more agressive launch and you get the picture. And this was a very early AED performane tune before he was doing the drag tunes..... NEXT.

FWIW I run a AED tune now since I started modding more. He is a great tuner and you are dealing with him directly. I had zero complaints with my BAMA tune while I ran it.

I did the 12-1300 thing then floored and got nasty wheel spin with a 2.7 60 ft. I then babied it off idle and managed a 2.2 60, 12.8 @ 113 and 8.4@ 89 1/8th stock.

What do you need proof of?

AED's shop car went 10.9 with stock airbox/motor/manifolds and minor weight reduction with a manual trans.

Not once have I heard of a BAMA tuned car doing such.

yeah an extra 1 mph, holy shit stop the press....do you think the reason a 3.55 car traps better is maybe bc of the dr and lower gearing...hmm....your guys are ****...nothin wrong with aed just too many 5BROs(douchebags) around here.....
