Just installed my Barton short throw with bracket. Feels amazing , bangs through gears with ease!! Getting out
Of reverse back to neutral or first is a little stiff. Is that the nature of this shifter? Just tight because it's new? Seems to pop out of reverse slightly into neutral if that makes sense. Other than that which doesn't even concern me Much, definitely a must for manual guys.

Mine was like that to, the outside rubber boot on the shifter could be on wrong? My boot somehow was getting pinched so I couldnt push down at all to get into reverse. I trimmed it a little and hasnt happend since. It does take a little breaking in.

I know what youre talking about, mine does the same thing could be the rubber boot not being seated all the way but It's not that big of a deal. I love the shifter and bracket, shifts smooth.
