Bassani/Borla users ?

I just went to truckperformance.com and read that the bassani cat-back increases power 10-15hp and the borla cat-back increases power 15hp. Is there any truth to this? I would like to know if there is any hp gains from either system. Thanks in advance for any clarification.

I don't think there are much gains to be had from exhaust mods on a Lightning. I have Borla exhaust and didn't feel anything worth talking about. I could be wrong though. I do like the sound of the Borla, can't wait to gut out my cats to make it louder.

 

[Odin's Wrath]

I run a Borla cat back. No notable gains on the bottom end. It seems to respond better in the higher rpm range though. I also get about 1.5 mpg more around town.
