I think it maybe the SAI ports on the front of the headers and the exhaust ports are just a bit different in shape then the later model C head. I have a 96 Cobra and just dropped a Mach motor in. Thought see if I could help with the differences I found Good Deal here!!! These should move quick!

Thanks Iceman, although the '98 Cobra shares the same B heads as '96-'97. These are listed for '96-'97 Cobra with '98 being different part #.
