My car does not have a battery hold down clamp. The last owner must have lost it along with many other things.
As of right now my battery can wiggle around and be lifted out since nothing is holding it down. I need it to not move so I can pass track inspection this weekend. I have a few questions about the clamp.
Has anyone picked one up from ford before? How much was it?
Is it identical to the gt's clamp? or other ford vehicles?(1997) I assume it would be.
Any other suggestions for getting the battery to not move under the hood?
The battery does sit in a square and can only move side to side a little bit, it looks as if something is normally wedged in between the battery and that square to hold it steady.
