Battery Tray or Relocation Kit?

I just purchased an X2 AGM battery for my '04 FSVT and will need to replace the stock battery tray with a lower profile one, or relocate the battery to the hatch. Does anyone know of such components or kits for doing this? The X2 is about 3/4" taller than the stock battery which puts the cable terminals very close to the underside of the hood.

As long as the battery is properly secured and isn't actually contacting the hood you should have nothing to worry about, if you are really concerned you could always get some sturdy adhesive rubber pads and stick them to the hood above the terminals.

If you relocate to the trunk be sure to use high quality cable and be sure the connections are all done right or you'll burn through alternators.

I'm not aware of one, doesn't mean it doesn't exist though. I'd try FS Werks or Massive.
