BBK L/T Bolts too long 3 of 8 1998 Cobra

What are the shortest header bolts you can use for a street setup? 3 of the 8 bolts won't fit they're too tight a fit at the tubes??

BBKsupport said cut to fit. I hear what he said, but I need a high temp lock tight now for those short bolts. Suggestions??
ANSWER: Do not use locktite or anything. Once I get ALL the bolts in tight, cycle through 3 or 4 heat cycles torque them again.

check out the locking header bolts from summit. thats what i plan on using for this same situation. Dont cut bolts thats just the start to a striped threaded hole

Nope. I ran one of the nuts from the OEM studs up before cutting it short. careful filing and ran the nut off/on a few times. Perfect.
