Have you had any issues with the 911? I've looked at Turbo 997s about once a year for the past 4 years lol.
Nothing major with the Porsche. One thing to make sure of is that the engines haven't had any over revs (dealer can check). In particular mechanical because it can cause a lot of damage like a spun bearing or bent rods. Mechanical over rev will be the high ranges and it only take a little bit to potentially cause damage. Also if you plan on modifying them go with the 997.1 as it has a stronger engine than the 997.2. Maintenance is more expensive obviously but you can find good local shops to cut that down if you want.
