Will a 83" belt be good for a 2011 with a vmp gen 2 2.4 pulley and stock everything else.

If no Aux idler I believe it will be fine and probably preferred.
It may be pretty tight, but my experience is the 84" fits a little loose for my liking. I tried an 83.7 and I still think it could go shorter to be honest.

I do have a aux idler. Guess we will see if its gonna be too tight. I want to run a HD green belt but they go from 83" to 85" the rpm comes in a low 84" which will be the go to if this one is too tight.

You will be fine I think. I was gonna do the same thing.

WHile a good start, I do not feel that is the best judge of things. I went by that and had problems with slip. I fixed it to what I felt was right and slip was minimized.
